Guide
Collecting photos from a conference or company event
Last updated 26 September 2026
The short answer
Create one shared album for the event and put its QR code on the badges, the screens and the registration desk. Attendees add the photos they take, and the team gets every angle of the day in one place for the recap, the newsletter and next year's promotion.
Setting it up
- Create a pool for the event and add your team as co-hosts (Radiance).
- Print the QR poster (Radiance) and put it at registration, the coffee station and the stage.
- Run the live slideshow wall (Radiance) from the app on a screen at the venue: new photos appear as they are added, with the join QR always on screen.
- After the event, download the originals for your marketing team.
- Planners and agencies running many events use Studio to manage them from one dashboard and hand each finished album to the client.

Questions people ask
- Do attendees need to install an app?
- Yes. Attendees install Fondays and sign in with Google or Apple, which takes about a minute and keeps the album private to the people you invited.
- Can we show the photos on a screen during the event?
- Yes. The live slideshow wall (Radiance) plays the album full screen from the Fondays app, on a phone or tablet connected to a screen at the venue, and adds new photos as they arrive.
- We run events for clients. Is there a plan for that?
- Yes. Studio is for photographers, planners and venues: unlimited pools and guests, a multi-event dashboard, and handing a finished pool to the client.
